FINALLY! And thanks to everyone who has waited so patiently and encouraged me so much! Who knows how long it wouldn't have taken me if you guys hadn't prodded me on so much!
Okay here's the approximate stats: 5 foot long x 2 foot tall Size 14 aida (cornflower blue) Approximately 200 hours 397 yards of 3-strand thread About 23 skeins Just under 50,000 stitches 15 colors and some metallic gold accents
Pictures not the highest quality in the world but I can upload some detail shots if anyone actually wants to see each individual stitch! lol Here's one: [link]
Yes I took some artistic liberty on some things. I admit it. Heck, I even changed my pattern a couple of times after I started. Even after I had stitched some in a couple of places *wince* I hate taking out stitches! *shudder*
Design is mine but of course the characters are all Nintendo's.
Errr, I kind of drew the pattern on graph paper, lol, Might be fun to color in little bitty squares on the computer though. I'll put it on my list of stuff that's taking me forever to get done!
This is friggin' amazing! I'm just learning how to cross stitch and I was looking around on deviantart to see other peoples work and yours really caught my eye ^.^ Unbelievable amount of work, I envy your patients.
Did you ever release the pattern?
